Dammit. I hate to say it.

I don't mind Leo's crush on Karai that much.

I mean, I don't like her character, I never have in any of the turtles universes ( I pretty much always dislike girl characters for some reason ._. I dunno why. ) but I know she and Leo have always had this weird fascination for one another, so it's expected they'd stay constant with that. Plus, yknow... raging teenager hormones and all.

But what really makes me accept it is how perfectly Raph is reacting to it.

God. Damn. Raphie, seriously, I love you so much. Unnnf.

~~Makes me wonder if Leo'll get all jealous and possessive when Casey comes in and becomes Raph's best buddy. Eeeee.~~

I always seem to dislike the girl characters to. They are making the relationship interesting thats for sure and my heart cant help but hurt for poor Leo~ I am also interested to see what happens if Casey comes and finds interest in April. Wonder if he will fight with Donnie a lot? XD Have you wondered if Karai may actually be Yoshis daughter? Miwa I think her name was? I cant stop thinking about that and if so would that make Leo and her brother and sister? That would be awkward!

I have to admit, I like her. My favorite is still 2k3 Karai for now, but she had more screen time, of course.
The only thing that kinda bothers me is how she does not have a japanese accent. Wasn't she raised in Japan? Maybe not, but that's weird.
And I also like her design. The shaved/blond hair add a nice touch in my opinion, and she really looks like a teenager.

I still prefer her 2k3 design though

I also feel like I missed the 'hate karai' band wagon, cause I actually kinda like her. I dunno, I like that she's a strong female character-strong as in well developed personality and potential for expansion and I am a sucker for snarking.

Another reason is that she isn't 'amazingly pretty' or a complete delicate type dancer thing. I mean you look at her and she's got hips that arn't balanced by huge boobs so she's "sexy curvy" and something about her I just...like.

Aprils the same way-they're not amazingly perfect dancer body type girls-and they're teenagers no one has their 'mature' body when they're not...well mature. But like yeah...

I'm also interested as to what the lowering of their ages will do to character development and such.

But yeah...I liked 2k3 Karai-I mean yeah she's a bad guy, and she's torn but theres such a great character in someone who's bad, but not evil and inhumane and...I'll just hide away now...

So many thoughts boucing around my head with Karai...like so many I just lost it a little. And I'm like, looking forward to Casey showing up but I've gotten attached to DonxApril in this and I'm torn between like Casey and April who I love but Don and April(I've always had this niggle in the back of my head about 'what'd happen if it was just April and the turtles' and yeahhh) But Leo's sort of 'My brothers come first-no questions' thing made my naww feelings kick it a million gears up-and Raph at the end with the 'kinda hot' thing oh god*falls over*

This show and this fandom may just kill me *Feel free to ignore turtle feelings rambling*

Yaaaaaay! i'm totally agreed! Karai finally get paired with Chapelin in the 03 toon, that's one of the main reason i love that series the best than any other versions.

P.S. When Raph and Leo started fighting and they ended up on the floor and I paused the recording at the right moment and ASDFGHJKL, Leo was under Raph hanging onto him with his eyes shut and Raph was on top of him with his hands on either side of Leo with his eyes half-lided and I was all like "ASDFGHJKL IT LOOKS LIKE A SNEEFEE DRAWING"
