---- Raph was tired of training weapons. Wooden sais are for sissies. He isn't a baby anymore. He wants the sharp stuff, like big kids have.
He really, really insists on it.
Splinter gives in and hands them to Raph, who's ecstatic but can barely hold the heavy things, on the condition that Raph must give them up if Leo manages to beat him using his wooden swords.
Guess what happens. -----
Little idea I had that I'll never write. XD
Also just a heads up to say I won't be here for the next few days :3
I really like how big the Sais are compared to little Raph. It just adds that little something this pictures needs to really sell the story you've added to it. I'm tempted to ask if I could rite this as a oneshot... but I know that more than one other person is going to ask the same, so I'll leave well enough alone. I really like this imge, it really captures Raph's personality as I believe it would be as a child. Still a bit of a punk, but more innocent and still overly arrogant, not having learnt his personal limitations yet. I love how you're able to tell so much about a character without having to make the image overly complicated.

it mostly impress me the look on raph's eyes, like saying 'I'm ready I'm ready' as if trying to convince himself more than the others. such a nice backstory too, its increible how the writers of the tmnt cartoon never have this ideas.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
